nd Annual Break The Cycle! Motorcycle Rally took place on Saturday, October 27th at Mancuso Crossroads Harley Davidson dealership which is located near the intersection of Highway 290 and FM 1960. The proceeds of the rally benefit You’re Living Proof, a 501 c 3 non-profit organization that assists survivors of domestic violence. After feasting on Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks Coffee, hundreds of bikers roared off headed for ther Freedom Rides to Bellville and Magnolia. They returned to Mancuso at for a fun-filled rally featuring live music provided by the Floyd Callen Band featuring Kevin Black. James Coney Island served their famous hot dogs to Stop The Dog Gone Violence! The Chick-Fil-A cow attended and partied hearty at the event and brought hundreds of chicken sandwiches to feed the lively crowd. Barbeque brisket sandwiches were provided by ieSmart Systems, HEB on Hwy 6 N, and Attorney Marilyn McGuire and others. Drinks were donated by Be A Champion and Krogers.
Generous participants donated thousands of dollars to the Break The Silence! Auction. Contributors to the auction included Mancuso Harley Davidson who donated $1,000.00 in gift certificates, Rider’s Edge Motorcycle Riding Course, Momemtum BMW West, Arnold Palmer Golf Management, Mann Eye Institute and Laser Center, Barnes and Noble Booksellers, La Quinta Inns, Los Cucos Mexican Resaturant, Fish City Grill @ LaCenterra, and many others.
Proceeds from the 2nd Annual Break The Cycle! Motorcycle Rally will be used to help provide educational opportunities for adult female survivors of domestic violence and their children.
